Clodagh Chapman is a writer, artist and researcher from London. She is a current PhD student in the Department of Geography at UCL, funded by the SHS Faculty Arts and Humanities Studentship.
As a writer, Clodagh’s work has been longlisted for the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting and Papatango New Writing Prize. Her debut short film played in BAFTA-qualifying festivals, and she is currently in post-production on her next short for BFI NETWORK. She has published short fiction and non-fiction with Tough Poets Review and Open City Documentary Festival.
Alongside this, Clodagh has worked as a script reader for the Bush Theatre, Royal Court Theatre and George Devine Award, and hosted panels and Q&As for the Almeida Theatre, HOME, BFI London Film Festival, BFI Flare, BFI Future Film Festival and Sheffield DocFest. Clodagh is a Programme Adviser at Sheffield DocFest.
